Caldirola supports the WWF Italy in Abruzzo's biodiversity protection campaign.
The growth of a healthy and productive economy depends not only on one's respect for the land but also on the preservation of agricultural areas and the protection of biodiversity. Maintaining our environment in a healthy state is the best way forward for sustainable economic development.
This is the reason that prompted Casa Vinicola Caldirola to work in collaboration with WWF Italy in 2010 with the aim of creating awareness with regard to sustainability and environmental rehabilitation in the form of the "Abruzzo – Land of Nature" project.

The activities covered by the intiative involved the WWF Regional Natural Reserve Oasis "Calanchi di Atri" in the province of Teramo . The tourist itineraries that cover 28.8 kilometres of protected terrain have been promoted with panels that describe the location and the flora and fauna of the area as well as its fossil and archaeological remains. The photo-traps installed, help to monitor the small and large mammals that have chosen the oasis as their natural habitat.
